Geez..when I wrote this question earlier in the week, nothing was in the sink, but as I post this now there are 3 bras soaking in a bowl that just happens to be in the sink. (black,purple and red in case you wanted to know)

5-Funniest thing you have read on Blogstream this week?

Has to be Puppy's deep,dark confession about Bulgarian Buttermilk and Ding-Dongs. I laugh every time I think about it.

6-Speed limit on the interstate where you live?

Mostly 70 MPH here in Alabama.But just try going 70 in Atlanta and you will get run over! Speed limits in ATL are only suggestions or starting points.

7-Last thing you bought for yourself?

2 new pair of earrings, (Like I really needed more!),and the purple thing in the sink. For those of you who would say that the purple thing was bought with The Yankee in mind, well...yes and no. He always says it looks better on the floor beside the bed. HAVE MERCY!

8-What rings do you wear most often?

A black onyx oval ring, black onyx with gold Cameo,gold and diamond cluster ring, hugs and kisses band with diamonds. (No, it is not a wedding band,but there is a story behind it that I may tell one of these days.) Those are the ones I wear all the time. Occasionally I switch it up some and wear my birthstone ring or another cluster ring, and during college football season on Saturday's I wear my Alabama ring.

9-Last person you sent an email to?

A new found cousin that contacted me last Saturday night.

10-Price of regular gasoline where you live?

Down the road it is $1.97 a gallon. A couple of miles away in Georgia it is $1.93.

11-Does it make you dizzy to stick you index finger in your belly button and move it around?

YES.

12- Did you try the above before answering?

No. I already knew the answer.

13-Something strange/weird or unusual that you eat?

Well, a lot of folks think Southern "Soul Food" is weird. I guess the strangest thing is something I came up with as a teenager and still enjoy occasionally. When no one else is around that is. A Cheetos Sandwich. Don't knock it until you try it.

Here's how to make it: You can use regular bread, but I like to use French Bread. Spread some soft Philly Cream Cheese on both sides of the bread (onion and chive is good). Crush up some Cheetos and put them on the bread, then put some whole Cheeto's on the bread. YUMMM...

14-If Hillary Clinton is elected President, considering Bill's colorful past, what should she ban from the Whitehouse?

15-New product you have recently tried and fell in love with?

My son in law, Super Trooper introduced me Christmas Day to Frank's Red Hot (Sauce). I COULD DRINK IT! When it comes to hot sauce I am a TOTAL wuss, so that should give you some idea about the heat factor.

I am bothered right now. Make that read, VERY!!!!!!!! Hundreds of words, thoughts and feelings banging around inside me. I know from past experience that if I don't get them out,it only makes matters worse.

Very often I resist doing so here on my blog. About certain issues anyway. I tend to censor myself. Or is it called, "candy coating", or maybe just plain ol' lying to myself.

Lying to myself....now there is something I am most familiar with. I tend to see things, not as they are, but as I want them to be. Guess who gets hurt the most in the long run.....ME.

So, I wonder, if for the next few minutes, I could throw caution to the wind and not censor,candy coat or lie to myself.

Is love enough? Is it enough, all by itself? I know people that say, no. Love is not enough. As for me, I think, yes. It is enough. If it is the right kind of love, it can withstand much and carry you through much.

How do you know if it's the right kind of love? The answer to that is very, very, VERY, simple. The anwser can be found in something I have heard my whole, entire life: ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

I am at a crossroad in my life right now. On the verge of a decision that has been in the making for sometime now. And it boils down to this: Do I go with the words.....or the actions...? The words say one thing, the actions say another. It is a decision I don't want to make. But one that I MUST make for myself.

I remember something Dr Phil says: "You teach people how to treat you", and, "In this life, you get what you ask for". Those 2 statements go hand in hand. In a nutshell, that has to change. And I don't mean change slowly over time, but change and change RIGHT NOW.

I have learned so very much about myself since joining Blogstream over 15 months ago. I have learned from your postings and comments. I find strength, inspiration and encouragement here.

Something very, VERY,VERY, important is missing from my life. It has been for a long,long,time. But I could never face it,look at and examine it. Until now.

Thank God for people who will tell it to me like it is! Thank God for your kind words. Thank God for people to turn to and confide in when things go wrong.

Something happened yesterday that jolted me right down to my very core. But, you know what....I survived. I didn't crumble. 2 people from my past played very different roles in the events of yesterday.

As I struggled with it last night, I took a look in my emotional mirror and didn't like what I saw. My heart is full, but my arms are empty. My love is full,alive and ready to bloom, but my life is empty. And that dog just won't hunt. Not anymore. Not ever again.

It has been a long standing joke between me and my friend Bev for quite sometime that I go through life with blinders on. Trying to avoid mental and emotional pain, by refusing to acknowledge what is going on around me.

Very often she will ask the question: "Does a house have to fall on you?"

And, of course the answer to that has always been, "Yes. And sometimes even that isn't enough."

Thank you bloggers for being there for me during these times when I feel alone, unloved,unwanted,forgotten and disposable. All the,I love you's, in the world can't erase or cancel those feelings.

Right now, I can acknowledge that the house is indeed falling in on me. But, this time is different. This time I am getting out of the way! And now, in the words of my favorite song of ALL time, "Put me on a highway....show me the sign....and take it....to the limit...one more time...." (Beep....Beep....look out....here I come)
