Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve. My plans for a quite, vegging out on the sofa and watching movies, New Year's Eve, didn't exactly happen the way I had planned, but, it's all good! In fact, this could be the BEST year yet! More about that later. Once I recover that is.

Some background info about, "Boo-Boo Cream Pie".

Back in October I kept the grands while their parents spent the weekend in T-Town. That is Tuscaloosa for those of you that don't know.

I brought over some ingredients to make my son in law's favorite pie for when they returned. Trooper Junior decided to help. It requires no baking, only assembling, mixing and pouring in the pie crust. It sat in the fridge until dinner time.

Satisfied that Trooper Junior had ate enough Chicken Parm (homemade by Me-Ma), I produced a slice of pie from the fridge,and cut it in half. One half for Me-Ma, one half for Trooper Junior.

Ignoring his spoon, he plunked a chubby finger in the middle of the pie, bringing a big glob of it up to his mouth.

"UUMMMMMM.....sooooo good, Me-Ma....."

The second bite he took time to inspect, holding it up in front of his face, shoving another bite in his mouth.

"UUmmmmmm....Boo-Boo cweam...." He said smacking his lips, causing Me-Ma to choke and laugh.

You see, each night at bed time, he gets something called, Butt Paste smeared on his little bottom. He calls it, "Boo-Boo cweam".

The pie is the same color as his "boo-boo cweam".

Now, each time Me-Ma comes over, he wants, Boo-Boo Cweam pie. Each time he calls Me-Ma on the phone, he wants to talk about Boo-Boo Cweam pie.

Christmas Day, my daughter and son in law did all the cooking. I didn't have to bring but 1 thing, Boo-Boo Cweam pie.

I arrived to see Trooper Junior standing in the door. He always gets excited to see Me-Ma. He loves his Me-Ma and thinks I'm super special. Not many people get excited to see me, so that is always a treat. He was running in place, screaming, "Me-Ma.....Hey.....Hey Me-Ma......."

Hours later, after lunch, with the others in the living room, Trooper Junior and I sneaked into the kitchen. I got paper plates and cut a slice of Boo-Boo Cream pie for us.

That was a special moment. Just the two of us, eating Boo-Boo Cweam Pie. When he finished, he walked over to me, puckering up his lips, kissed Me-Ma on the cheek and said:

"Good Boo-Boo Cweam pie, Me-Ma".
